  Wow, thanks for the heads up. I've been trying to correct everything as much as I can, but still getting an error about how my string input doesn't contain attribute 'pattern'. I'll keep trying but if there is an obvious mistake I'd love some help.

  There are several options, one of the easiest is to use <a href="http://omz-software.com/pythonista/forums/discussion/6/a-simple-http-server#Item_1">this sample code</a> for transferring files over local Wifi. It's also possible to <a href="http://omz-software.com/pythonista/forums/discussion/10/using-the-dropbox-module">use Dropbox</a>, but it's more complicated to set up.

  Unfortunately it's not possible for me to include file import as a feature of the app itself because Apple doesn't allow that for programming apps.

  You can simply set the <code>tint</code> property of the TextLayer to set it to a different color, e.g. for red text:

  <pre>text_layer = ...
  text_layer.tint = Color(1, 0, 0)</pre>

  I see, thanks. This is basically a rounding error that results from integer values being used instead of floats. I intend to fix this, but you can also work around this issue pretty easily by explicitly using float coordinates, i.e. <code>center.x - 64.0</code> instead of <code>center.x - 64</code> etc. Just add a <code>.0</code> to your coordinates for now and it should work.

  Result: I at least need a lot of explanations, e.g. the Application stuff possible in Pythonista and a lot more.
  @kingtut, willtry to dowload some of your examples on a PC, did not try downloading on my Ipad (imposible I think)

  Hmm, I can't reproduce this issue. Does anyone else see/hear this? I can't really think of anything related to raw_input that could cause this.
