If you have a PIL.Image, you can use either resize (which returns a new Image), or thumbnail (which modified the image in place).

The first argument is a size tuple, the second is the interpolation type.

The original question was about not installing system fonts. Obviously you cant use an ImageFont in a textfield.

I can recommend the AnyFont, available in the App store.

@JonB, yes, I misread/misremembered the acceleration as velocity, and also forgot some of my basic physics as well, and really should have taken the time to go back to the docs after your first message, sorry.

In any case, I am super happy to have this clarified, both in order to avoid similar confusion with fields in the future, as well as to avoid any extra Python code in the update.

No problem that is all I did with my template. It works in Xcode 11 it just displays your script as a card overlay instead of full screen like it did in Xcode 10.

Yeah I feared they were Pythonista specific (which is fine - just means I need to pivot). I'll look into the other thread and if I can - contribute where I can there.
It would be great to establish Pythonista as a (for beginners / protoypists) full-fledged Pi IDE (I feel like UI is the missing piece there).

I did want to avoid using WebView but if I have to - I'm no stranger to front-end development so I can always give into that road.

select one tap share button tap "run Pythonista script" tap "edit scripts" choose this script tap the run button

Of course, if you want to use frequently, you can add it to the Pythonista share scripts

@timmymathew If you want to send your file to Shortcuts app, there is a quicker way.
Actually, you tap on Tools, Share, Shortcuts, your shortcut.
With this way, you tap Tools, "Share to shortcut" (or the text you want, of course)

You have to do, once,

your shortcut, named here, My_shortcut, containing only:
Get Clipboard
Save file.....as yours shortcut create the little script here-under and add it to Tools
