How to Import a pyui file?
-
How do I import a pyui file into Pythonista? The python file mentioned here comes with a .py file (which I can copy and paste into pythonista) but the .pyui file has a bunch of text (when it represents a user interface)
This is a beginner question.

You probably want to download the zip. There are scripts out there for downloading zips from git, or you can download it on a computer and get it into pythonista some other way. By the way, I JUST uploaded an updated version of the file you're downloading. It has a new url, which is now attached to the original link.

I have been using Github Get for zip files, but it is saying that the provied link doesn't provide a zip file.

Hmm... I didn't notice the lack of a zip file. You can download the gist and ungzip/untar it. Shellista can do that if needed. I'll put it on dropbox or somewhere else later tonight if needed. Anyone else have an easier way to load a pyui from git without zip files?

For github repositories, githubget is simple. Also, you can install a bookmarklet in safari, which allows you to even skip the copy to clipboard step!

I was able to use the quick and dirty method. Thanks.
