slowing down speech. say()
-
Hi everyone!
does anyone know how to slow down the speed on the built in text to speech module within pythonista? I looked, and it said it was something like this:
import speech
speech.say("hi there"[0.0])the [0.0] being the speed in which it goes. when I entered this however, it gave me this error message: string indices must be integers
Can anyone tell me what I should do?
Thanks -
The square brackets are only there to indicate that the parameter is optional. In actual code it would look like this:
import speech speech.say('hi there', 'en-US', 0.0)
