LaTex In Editorial
-
We have markdown; we have Taskpaper; we have TextExpander; we have Python. Now, all we need is LaTex. Then Editorial will be the greatest text editor ever known to man!
P.S. There is a free pylatex module on github.
What about it?Or any tips on how I could get it working on the user end?
I know about the workflow, but it uses an API that requires internet connection.

, Editorial would be the greatest text editor in the universe. This doesn't answer your question, but here's a workflow that uses the iOS app texpad to do LaTeX from markdown: http://editorial-app.appspot.com/workflow/5245394703351808/W5YhtQWbp0g
It's a bit crude, you need to manually paste the LaTeX into texpad, but the result is superb. All done on your iPad.

This workflow allows you to display latex formulas in markdown documents: LaTex Previewer
And this one does the same for AsciiMath: AsciiMath Previewer
