Learning by commented code
-
I was wondering if anybody would be willing to provide "line by line" teaching comments on one of the starter sketches included with Pythonista?
Or better yet be the first to do it on a YouTube tutorial.
The provided sketches are really powerful learning examples. I was thinking that additional comments or background explanations create a fast track for those who are new to iOS and learning Python as well.

I would be willing to help, witch sketch are you focusing on?

First off I wanted to say thank you for offering help. Here's what I'm thinking:
I think that using Comments in the sketches should be overly detailed; an intro to Pythonista from a "why" and creating a "voice" to the actual code and flow of the program. Perhaps the photo effects sketch would be a good one to start with for beginners.
On the "How" side of things, I think providing line by line comments should be done purely for those who are very new to python as a language showing newbies how powerful it could be if one were to step-through the learning curve that Pythonista allows as a primer to a traditional development environment. It's ready to go for teaching how to code.

Ok I will post one soon. Give me about 1 to 2 days maybe to work on it. Till then, good luck

I meant the "image effects" sketch.

Ok thanks for the clarification
