Questions about Custom Markdown Template and Footnote Formatting
-
I've been tweaking the HTML preview template for Markdown to meet my needs for reading in the preview. I'd like to change the way footnotes citations are displayed in the text (not as superscript). But any changes I make to the template code doesn't seem to have any effect. For example, I deleted the code:
vertical-align: super
Yet, preview still formats the footnote citations as superscript. Specifically, I'd like the footnote citations to display in brackets, rather than superscript.
Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!

Just wondering if you've had any luck with this. Tweaking the footnote citations is the one thing I haven't been able to figure out.

Are you sure superscript isn't achieved by tags?
