Dropbox file editing question
-
I'm considering buying editorial. I see there is "dropbox syncing" mentioned in the app store page. I'm looking for something every specific that my current file editing apps don't do, even though they sync or backup their data to drop box.
Simply, I want to find a text file in my dropbox account, in any folder, that was put there by some other means (i.e. not Editorial) and then be able to find that file with Editorial, edit it, and save it, such that when I'm done the saved changes are in that file at dropbox.com.
Is my question clear?
Can Editorial do this?
Thanks in advance for the replies!

Editorial syncs with a single folder in your Dropbox account, and you can edit all files within that folder. It is possible to use the root folder of your Dropbox as the sync folder, which makes all files in your account accessible in Editorial. As an optimization (because syncing all your files could potentially be very slow), Editorial only syncs subfolders that you've opened at least once in the app though. I hope that clarifies things a little bit.
