Scene inside ui.view, controlled by a menu via a pyui file...
-
I have recently posted several pythonista scripts in my repo that together function as a weather app, 'WeatherAnywhere'. I have been working with python and Pythonista for almost a year now and with the aid of the wealth of information provided by the many generous contributors to this forum I was able to put this together. @ccc has been very helpful with his many excellent contributions to the repo. The functionality of the project has evolved from a text based presentation in the console window to a pyui that provides a front end menu to load the weather from a chosen city into a scene that exists inside a ui.view. Threading and timing are obviously big issues here.
The code works but I'm sure there are more efficient ways to get it done and probably could use more classes to make things simpler...as always, a work in progress as I learn more. Comments and suggestions are always welcome.
