How do you start writing a script from scratch on Editorial and then sync it with Slugline or Highland using fountain text format?

I tried using 'Plain text" and used the Fountain codes but in preview it did not format it at all. It is all a bit confusing for me, being new writing using Fountain.

Can anyone explain to me the step by step workflow or guide me to a thread on this forum? I could not fins a link on the website.

      Thanks

To use Fountain syntax and get a preview, you just have to change the file extension from .txt to .fountain.

Alternatively, you could select the Fountain syntax mode in the "Aa" (quick settings) menu. This would change the mode for all files of the current type though, which might not be what you want.

Just tap "New Template" (at the bottom of the template list), and enter something like "Untitled.fountain" in the filename field.
