Wireless Network Discovery
-
Is there a networking API available through Pythonista? Something to allow discovery of AP.
-
@ced iOS wifi APIs are private. You can't control which wifi networks are connected or enabled. I also doubt you will be able to even scan for networks. That's simply not exposed functionality.
-
The question is a bit vague. Python of course has many networking APIs and they are all available to Pythonista code.
I am assuming that AP stands for Access Ponit. Are you trying to discover and communicate with the WiFi access point you are currently connected to? Hacking with https://github.com/cclauss/upnp_tools could allow you to do that.
Or are you trying to turn on/off WiFi and/or change from one WiFi network to another? If the latter, then @Webmaster4o is quite right that Apple does not allow programs (Objective C, Swift, Pythonista) to do that.
