Ui.Rect - can't add dynamic attrs

@omz, sorry. This is probably a very stupid question/assertion. But I don't understand why I can't add dynamic properties/attrs to ui.Rect. I know I can't sub class it, but I did think I would be able to add attrs to it dynamically. I have only tried with assignment. My reason for asking is to use the ui.rect class like views. You have the superview Rect, then assign a new attr subrects a list, which you append ui.rects to etc. seems to me a nice light weight way to handle a dynamic cell creation/definition of rects.
Maybe i am way of base here. I am sure could make another class to enable this construct, but it seems like a lot of overheard and obscurity to me
