Pythonista forum web page on home screen

Usually, when I create an icon on the home screen for a web page, via Safari/share, when I click this icon, I fall on the web page in a "normal" safari execution.
When I do the same on the web page of this forum, and I click the icon, I fall in the web page of the forum, but without the Safari top bar, and this page can't be swept through the left/right gesture with 4/5 fingers, even from another app.
If you display apps by the up 4/5 fingers gesture, you see the app.
I don't understand this anomaly. -
This happens when the website you're adding says that it's a "web app", which means that if you add it to the home screen and open it from there, iOS will try to make it look like a "real" app by removing the Safari interface. I think this is mostly a relic from old iPhone OS versions that did not have the App Store yet (or when it was really new) - back then web apps might have been easier to write than "real" iPhone apps.

Thanks a lot for your explanation

I understand for hiding the Safari top bar but not for the left/right 4/5 fingers gesture.
