Having only just bought the Pythonista app just a few days ago I'm a little surprised to have to pay a further £3.99 for the Pythonista 3 app. If I'd have known I would have waited a few days and waited for the new version! Not really in the Spirit of Python(Ista)

Pythonista 3 was announced a long time ago. The paid upgrade to Pythonista 3 was the reason why the Pythonista 2 update was free. See https://forum.omz-software.com/topic/2747/python-3-x-progress-update for more details.
