UI Priority/Order/"Send to Back/Front"
-
Hi everyone, simple question today (hopefully).
Is there a way to change the priority of an element in a UI (ie. sending something to the front or back so they don't overlap in a way that isn't really wanted)?
Thanks:)
-
Bring_to_front and send_to_back methods of UI.view perhaps?
-
@cvp Unfortunately those methods are for the actual view window, so if you have multiple views open it can adjust which one is at the front and back. :\
-
I currently use it for sub-elements of an ui.view, like buttons, ImageViews, ...,
like button_name.Bring_to_front() etc.., thus with multiple objects views. -
Aha - you're right! I moved my code line (the send_to_back) into after the subviews are created rather than when all the attributes of the element are setup and it works wonderfully. Thanks!
