Pay someone to write pythonista scripts
-
I don't know python well and can't write python scripts. Have a strong technical knowledge and use pythonista for quite a few tasks at the moment. Is there anywhere I can go to have someone write a couple of custom scripts to improve my workflow? Happy to pay for the service.

Tell us what you need, I'm sure some people may already have what you need or if your needs are generic enough would be able to implement it just for fun.

Thanks mcsquaredjr.
Want to be able to do the following using a python script:
- Use Open In… so that when a PDF is opened into Pythonista it launches the script
- The script will save the PDF to Evernote and ask you what tags you want to assign. It save the PDF to a notebook called Accounts in Evernote.
- The script will also save the PDF to Dropbox and give you the option to choose a directory path in which it is saved.
- If possible would also delete the PDF from the Pythonista Inbox at the end.
-
@dgold: Pythonista doesn't have an Evernote module to my knowledge, and it would be hard to implement the Evernote functionality because of that. Pythonista does have a Dropbox module, though, which could be used in the way you want.
-
It's not that hard to install it, in fact, Ole posted a script that installs Evernote client. @dgold, what you asked is of course doable. Some while ago I posted another script that uses Evernote SDK in Pythonista to post cleaned-up articles to Evernote:

Thanks for that. I guess one could always use a mail drop for Evernote which wouldn't require the SDK.
-
Pythonista 1.4 actually includes the
evernote
module, there's a simple example of how to use it in the docs. -
It just keeps getting better and better and easier and easier! Soon there will be no more room for excuses. Thanks for an impressive upgrade!
-
@omz: Really? That could be useful in many circumstances. As ccc said, it just keeps getting better! :-D

I don't know how to write python. I'd be happy to pay any of you if you want to take a crack at it. You can contact me directly dgold104 at gmail dot com.
