How can I run multiple python scripts?

I'm trying to run WebIDE in the background so that I can run the project I'm working on at the same time that WebIDE is running. I tried to do it from StaSh but WebIDE quickly crashes after loading a page or two in my browser. WebIDE works fine when I use the play/run button.
Any suggestions?
