Accessing Notes
-
I've tried searching the forum but with no luck.
Does anyone know of an example of accessing IOS Notes? I'd like to be able to scan the notes on my device for keywords if possible.
Thanks

i believe apple does not provide any apis to access the notes app, so this cannot be done.

Thanks for the quick reply and that's a shame. It probably explains why I could not find anything when searching the forum.
Thanks

It was possible via pyicloud but it seems that the API doesn't work correctly anymore

@cvp that's a shame. I never thought of something accessing the Cloud but that may not have helped. I wanted to read my notes and create an index. I was then hoping that if there was something in the index that I wanted to edit I could have jumped to notes to edit the content.

I still hope because I use pyicloud to get photos from iCloud and that works correctly, with the modifications of a pull request that you can see on github but the notes part gives old notes, it's thus sure that we could access notes on iCloud but I think there is also a problem of updating...
