Bug? Subviews resetting when editing
-
Hi,
I'm learning both Python an Pythonista, so I'm not sure if this is a bug. I`m editing a pyui file that I downloaded on github, but when I'm editing a subview (or a subviews subview!), it very often resets to how it was before editing when I return to a parent level. It's extremely frustrating, especially after spending some doing fine edits. On some views, I had to edit the UI files as JSON in order to complete the edit. By the way, it would be great to have a button to quickly switch back and forth between text and graphical UI editing.
Thanks!

@superrune , in the past I have had the same problems. It's not an answer, but my work around is to do a few edits and the close all the views until I reach the root view. In the past I found the undo and redo buttons tend to confuse subiews of a view to the point they don't save correctly. I find if I just take it a little easy on the number of edits I do to subviews before close the view, I don't get so many problems. I assume that the edits are not being written until you close the subview/s. At least it seems like that
