Source File Notation script [Share]
-
Guys, I shared a gist below. Just something I wanted for myself. Just a script for creating a notes file associated with a src file. I just often want to write some notes when I am working on a file. I normally don't want to put them as comments in the src file.
It might be useful for someone if you have the same feeling. I haven't done extensive testing, but with the current settings, I can't see how it can be destructive.
The script is for including in the wrench menu, the target is the current editor tab
The gist@omz, I remember from previous conversations, you were hesitant to open up the editor API. Maybe you have changed your position on this, I am not sure. One thing I would love is a workspace type of setting thingy. I.e at minimum to be able to open a a set of files in the editor (option to add to current open tabs or to close all the currently open tabs) , as a set. Ideally, this would be built in. However if we had more programmatic access to the editor tabs people could roll their own versions.
