ui.View().remove_subview()

So in one function I have added a subview with the name ‘video’. In a different function i want to remove that subview. How would I go about this? When I print v[‘view1’][‘video’] it returns nothing, but the view is there. Printing v[‘view1’] returns that it is in there. How do I remove this view? Sorry this is probably a simple question and will show that I am a newbie with this!

Something like
v.remove_subview(v['view1'])
should work.
