iCloud - Seeing files on Mac OS
-
Sorry guys for this super dumb question. But always assumed that iCloud basically operated in much the same way Dropbox does. Well as far as I can see it does not unless I am missing some settings.
Sorry, this is an os issue/question, not specific to Pythonista.
But when I look on my Mac I cant see any of my iOS folders except the standard ones from apple apps like numbers etc. But I cant see the Pythonista 3 folder, Working Copy , etc Folders. Is this some division Apple has built in? I can see the folders correctly from other iOS devices. I really haven't been using iCloud interactively , as I normally use Dropbox.
I did some searches on the web, could still not see why I can not see the iOS folders on my Mac iCloud folder. I have just stupidly expected it would work across all devices with iCloud accounts.
I hope I am just missing some very simple setting here. Again, sorry to ask here as its not specific to Pythonista, but I think most will want to I be able to access their Pythonista files from there mac via iCloud.
Fingers crossed :)
BTW: on the latest os versions on the mac and the iPad

I do see the "Pythonista 3" folder on the Mac, and also the folders of a bunch of other iOS-only apps, though I'm not aware of any setting that would control this. In the iCloud system preferences, only Mac apps are listed (and can be deactivated under "iCloud Drive > Options").
Maybe try logging out of iCloud on the Mac and logging back in again? Just a shot in the dark, sorry.
