Personalize iOS 11 apps dock pop up window if long press?
-
Pythonista is, of course, in the apps dock of my iPad.
When I do a long press on its icon, a popup window is displayed with two recently modified files.
Is it possible to personnalize this popup, for instance to launch predefined scripts? -
It seems to be a popover which appears when you do a longish tap on an app that supports files and shows you recently-accessed files.
-
As far as I know, it isn’t possible to customize this popover.

@omz Ok, Thanks for your answer (and your marvelous app)
-
Not sure what do you mean, but I guess it's UIApllicationShortcutIem, which can be dynamically set by the app via shortcutItems property. These dynamic shortcuts are displayed along with static ones defined in the Info.plist.

@zrzka No, it is not this feature because it is only supported on a device with 3D Touch.
But a long press on the icon in the dock is not the same. -
@cvp thanks for the explanation, didn't know this. Tried on my iPhone and seems it works on the iPad only. So many touch gestures, was expecting icons reordering and nice menu appeared :)

@cvp , thanks. Also did know about that gesture on iPads. Just tried it out. Pretty neat
