Restrict Editorial's Dropbox access type to "App folder" instead of "full dropbox"?

      Hi,

First of all, thanks for the fantastic app!

Now if I link Editorial to my Dropbox account, the access type will be the whole dropbox.
I understand that in many scenarios this would be convenient.

However, for some privacy concerns, would Editorial provide an option to restrict Dropbox sync access type to "App folder" only?

      Thanks very much.

The default is to sync only /Apps/Editorial (the app folder), and no other folders will be accessed. Editorial needs "full Dropbox access" because it allows you to configure which folder to sync, but it won't access any other folders by default.

Yes, I understood that Editorial need "full access" to enable users to configure other folder to sync.

I trust Editorial not to access other folders, however, maybe someone else does not. So there's still some concerns about privacy here.

If some users would give up the convenience of choosing custom folder in Dropbox to sync, could they get an option for "App folder only" access type?
