iPad Pro 11" screen usage
-
Dear All,
I would like to purchase Pythonista 3 app on my iPad Pro 11" and I wonder if it would use the full screen of the iPad.
-
Yes it does.

Additionally to “Yes you can paint to the whole screen” With UI and SCENE modules. Pythonista modules also give you access to other iPad sensors, such as location, orientation etc. Enjoy!!
(It is important to note that with the latest Apple iOS, it is not possible to define a limit to orientation ( ie Landscape or Portrait) This is detailed in the documentation, but I spent very frustrating hours trying to grok orientation control, before I found this new limitation imposed by Apple. )

@Zimbo If you use Pythonista primarily on the new iPad Pro, I would recommend getting the TestFlight beta, in case you run into problems when using the interactive console. There's a (relatively minor) bug in the App Store version currently (only affects 2018 iPad Pro models). You can get the beta here, if you're interested: https://forum.omz-software.com/topic/5295/new-beta-for-pythonista-3-3

Thank you very much for your replies. I have bought Pythonista 3 and it does work properly on iPad Pro 11''. The whole screen is covered in both landscape and portrait modes.
And thanks for the app, it is gorgeous.

Yes, it can fit the screen easily. By the way, I love the Split-Screen multitasking. If you have iPad Air 2 or later iPad models, you can use it with another app at the same time.

@JoanneWillian I use it on an iPad mini 4, see here for all functionalities
