Can't select folder in Files app in iPadOS. Google says nothing about it, nobody had problem with selecting folders in Files app, so I suspect the problem within Pythonista code for button External Files -> Open.

Maybe someone knows workaround? I'm tryong to add Working Copy folder to Pythonista.

The problem is that Apple changed the API a bit for the file open dialog. Whereas before they allowed people to select folders with it they no longer do. OMZ will need to add the open folder dialog to the app as well for it to work properly. The author of Textastic is having to do the same thing and that app should be updated by the time iOS 13 is released. I doubt Pythonista will have the same luck.

@eddo888, thanks for the idea. Any issues or gotchas we should be aware of?

@eddo888, do you have recommendations on how to get an existing Working Copy repository to start syncing with an iCloud directory?

@mikael create an empty folder in the pythonista icloud drive, then create a new sync directory in workingcopy to that folder. add the remote url to you fave git repo, then save and synchronise the repo. now you can pull your repo into the empty folder

@eddo888 thank you for pointing me to the sync feature of workingcopy. I will use this meanwhile. It works fine. Still hope that @omz fixes the external directory feature of pythonista in iOS13 soon.

Does this mean what I think it means?

Edit: a new beta update has just been been released!
