Javascript Onclick with requests?
-
After I mastered the login into a website using requests I face a new problem. There is an JavaScript onclick event I have to activate to go to a webform where I can submit a telephone number. The HTML Code is
<a href="#" onclick="if(typeof jsfcljs == 'function'){jsfcljs(document.getElementById('vOpts'),{'vOpts:j_id_jsp_603288345_5:3:j_id_jsp_603288345_19':'vOpts:j_id_jsp_603288345_5:3:j_id_jsp_603288345_19'},'');}return false">auswählen/ändern</a>
I already searched for a solution without success. Any hints?

When you are using this form in a browser, Is there a way to invoke your browser's "open in new tab" popup menu option? if so, the URL bar of the new tab will show you the direct URL that you can use for entering the phone number. This description is confusing but that approach has worked for me in the past. If it is a publicly accessible URL, you could provide it to us for more context.

Thanks for your hint!
Unfortunatally with "open in new tab" I got to the the same URL and the same webpage as shown before.
But then I experimented a little bit with Firefox and the Live HTTP Headers Add-on. With this combination I could find out the parameters and URL I need to post.
Update 22.03.14, the result of my efford: 'Script to interact with TNG.de website to redirect telefon calls'.
