Enable/disable WiFi connection for Pythonista using ObjC
-
Hi all, I'm searching for a way to enable/disable wifi for Pythonista by using some code (objc?) written with Pythonista itself.
I don't want to enable/disable wifi for whole idevice (it is not possible due to ios app sandboxing), only to allow/disallow Pythonista to use the wifi connection "A" (for downloading and uploading data by Pythonista) when my idevice is using wifi connection "A" (for any purposes, ie when using safari).
Is it possible?
PS: I'm still using Pythonista 3.1 (301016)
Thanks

I don't think it is possible. There used to be a way to check if you are on wifi or mobile, maybe still is, then your net code could decide what to do, but I don't think you can enforce it via objc.

Hi @jonB, thanks for your reply. My request was only to understand if there is a way to force Pythonista to use the mobile network instead of the wifi when my phone is connected to a free wifi network (less secure than an encripted one), so only for security reasons.
No problem, I will try to read on objC documentation if something already exists about it.
