Folding/filtering text ala Vim
-
I am a newcomer to Editorial : I am used to Vim (Mac Terminal), but could not find a decent implementation of it in IOS, so (thanks to Macstories and Macdrifter) I decided to join the Editorial fray.
I find much of what I wish, and like it, except the capacity to "filter" lines by ways of folding the lines NOT corresponding to an expression (cf. http://vim.wikia.com/wiki/Folding_with_Regular_Expression), which might be compared to the filtering capacities of a spreadsheet (e.g. Excel).
This allows to concentrate on specific lines, to modify them, and then return to the global text thus modified (in Excel : delete filter ; in Vim : zR).
Is it possible to do that in Editorial ? The Filter lines action does not seem to correspond to that type of folding/filtering (i.e. it seems - but I am a newbie - to eliminate rather than to hide)
Thanks in advance for your advice

No, the editor doesn't support hiding parts of the document.
