How to outdent/shift-left new lines in lists?
-
Hi
I just discovered by accident that when typing unordered lists, if I hit
Return
and then immediate hitEnter
, the newly-created line is indented by one tab. It works with numbered lists too. This is really useful - so thanks.
Is there a way to do the opposite, please - so that if my previous was indented, I hit R
eturn
, and then some other keystroke to delete a tab character from the start of the line?(I tried
Shift+Tab
, andDel
- neither un-indented my list item)Thanks
