Guidance for a Taskpaper workflow regarding archiving.....
-
I'm trying to figure out how to append the project name to the end of tasks that are archived.So far the only workflows I have seen for archiving just move all @done to the bottom Archive leaving me lost about who the archived tasks parent was.
So if I had:
PROJECT1: - TASK ONE @DONE - TASK TWO @DONE - TASK THREE PROJECT2: - TASK ONE - TASK TWO @DONE ARCHIVE:
Run the archive action and end up with this:
PROJECT1: - TASK THREE PROJECT2: - TASK ONE - TASK TWO @DONE ARCHIVE: - TASK ONE @DONE @PROJECT1 - TASK TWO @DONE @PROJECT1 - TASK TWO @DONE @PROJECT2
I keep a running list of my projects in one text file. If you've used PlainTasks for Sublime it handles the archive this way.
Any help would be really appreciated,
Thanks in advance,

Here's a workflow that automatically appends
@project(name)
tags to archived tasks:Note however that this doesn't handle indentation or sub-projects. Any project header is treated equally and following tasks are considered to be part of that project, regardless of whether they're indented or not.

WOW! Just ran it! I wasn't expecting a reply like that! Thank you! To be honest I probably would not have figured that out!
For my work I don't use subtasks, so this is perfect.
