Code completion for externally downloaded modules?
-
I've noticed that pythonista is unable to provide auto-completion for code that is downloaded and placed in the sys.path, either using the excellent pipista script, or by just manually downloading and placing scripts in folders under "Documents" (where the default python files that come with pythonista lie)
Maybe I'm doing something wrong? If not, is it possible to add this feature in the next version? This feature along with folder management (so one can organize multiple py files easily) would make pythonista infinitely more useful

You are not doing anything wrong, code completion in the editor is currently only supported for the file you're editing and built-in modules. This may change at some point, but probably not in the next update. Folder management is coming very soon though.

Thanks for your response. Can't wait for folder management :)

Also, is it possible to add a side-pane which lists all the instance variables and methods of a class/module? (something along the lines of what Eclipse provides). This way, even if auto-completion isn't there, one can quickly see a list of all the available variables/methods in this sidepane. Thanks
