my automated script makes a perfect packing slip but when I go print with brother Print and scan in plain text it makes tiny little fonts up in the corner of the page. is there a way to generate ascii control codes in the plain text file? something like chr$(n)?

having to do with classes and instants and scope - I don't know what to call it
I have added a label (label1) in the Ui designer. Is there something I can preface my reference to it in the offending line so that it can be found?
What is the name of the main view when it is created by the Ui designer?import ui
def button_tapped(sender):
sender.title = 'Hello' label1.text = 'hello' <-------------------------- causes error
ui.load_view('My UI').present('sheet')

custom picker?
is there a way to provide a list of text items for DatePicker to offer instead of dates?
is there another type of picker that could be used instead? -
RE: custom picker?
Thanks. That got me started pretty well. I can't believe how refined everything on this is. Makes me wonder if there are other apps that are this nice.
