Could you post your error?
It sound's like you suspect that Omz's Template is the main suspect, is that right?

RE: Any way to test out compiled scripts in physical iPad without a developer account?
Using this tutorial: http://mhassan.me/2013/02/15/using-xcode-without-provisioning-profile/
i was able to test Pythonista Apps on my iPad, hope it helps
RE: Does jailbreaking break Pythonista out of the iOS sandbox?
I know this is a bit late but:
Should do the trick
RE: need pointers for creating a GUI (for arming/disarming motion alarm on my set of Foscam cameras)
Yeah your best bet is html, manually constructing a gui however would be harder but more rewarding
[List] Feature Requests (and bugs)
This is list is inspired by @NoneNone's idea
Mercurial or CodeVille;
Registration as a Mail export target for .py files;
iCloud Script sync;
Pause and stop sounds;
Run Script From Library;
Script that executes other Scripts when run;
issue: Multiline Strings, i.e. Docstrings;
indepth analysis: The syntax highlighter does not recognise multiline strings and throws random words for word completetion
Keep adding ideas to the main Feature list thread and please (unless necessary) refrain from commenting on this thread. This list is to help @omz to see all the requests in an orderly fashion.
RE: Introduce Yourself!
My name is Daniel, i'm 15 and have no job. I dont enjoy playing games as much as i do skating, i HAD 15 pidgeons, 6 cats, 14 rabbits (we started of with 4) and 2 goats, but all except 1 cat and 2 pidgeons have either ran away, been killed for meat or flew away. I had NO intention of being a programmer at first and then i found the world of the jailbreak.
This world slightly piqued my interest in computer modifications and stuff. Becoming more comfortable with the computer file systems i decided to move unto ubuntu, the only system i could develop cydia tweaks and apps on other than Mac. That did not work out, so i was back at square one, toying with the idea of making a cydia tweak.
I came back from my web escapade to learn Objective-C. With an Obj-C Compiler on my iPad i could test my apps on my ipad.
AAnd so i'm here running between both thn and objective c, and web development, so yeah my life is quite chaotic atm with schoolol and all but im going to make sense of it (i hope to get a web development job this year :) (wish me luck)
Okay i started devoting time to start learning how to use the pythonista modules and was wondering how would you go about loading up an image and displaying it.
If you have time could you make it rotate when the user touches the screen so i can see how to apply effects
RE: Scrolling in scene module
maybe this will help
from scene import *
class MyScene (Scene):
self.dx = self.size.w / 2
self.dy = self.size.h / 2 + 10
def draw(self): background(0, 0, 0) translate(self.dx, self.dy) fill(1, 1, 1) stroke(1, 1, 1) stroke_weight(3) for x in range(-3000,3100,100): line(x,-3000,x,3000) text(str(x), font_size = 30, x = x, y = 0, alignment = 5) for y in range(-3000,3100,100): line(-3000,y,3000,y) text(str(y), font_size = 30, x = 0, y = y, alignment = 5) for i in range(-3000,3000,100): image('PC_Grass_Block',i,-125) def touch_began(self, touch): pass def touch_moved(self, touch): #self.dx += touch.location.x - touch.prev_location.x self.dy += touch.location.y - touch.prev_location.y def touch_ended(self, touch): pass
