Thanks. But the tutorial still does not give insights on how to access the root views' sub views. However, good start to know how to place bar button items.

NavigationView Tutorials?
Hello,
I would like to do some stuff with NavigationView, but I have problems of managing the view stack. I know the NavigationController from iOS, but I can't find ways to access subviews in the initial view of the stack (which you can edit by using the Ui editor) in Pythonista. How can I access subviews in the root view of NavigationView? Can I place bar button items in the NavigationBar? Otherwise, awesome stuff. Pushing a table view and having it use its own class works fine so far.

RE: Problems with Editorial v1.2
Thanks, didn't try that. Maybe that is something that should show up in the auto complete of the documentation search bar where it took me after not finding them.

RE: Problems with Editorial v1.2
Hello,
Indeed editorial is a great piece of software. In a mission to not flood the forum with new threads, I want to add some more issues here that I discovered in this thread:- When using a workflow in templates, UI does not show up (e.g. I want to ask for input when making a new file, and that UI does not show up, but it works when I trigger that from a different location in the app)
- When reordering items in markdown, the view sometimes scrolls unexpectedly and this disorientates
Further suggestions:
- When tapping a reorder handle, select text of the complete line/ reorder item (for deletion, changing, workflow usage etc.)
- module or accessible value for the url of a browser tabs url and title (e.g. For inserting the current open tab website as a markdown URL)
Thanks for the super great 1.2 update and I'm looking forward to these small bug fixes.

How to use a custom class for a whole UI
Hi,
My goal is to make a subclass of Ui.View and use it as a class for a whole UI like in a pyui file made in UI builder. How does that work? I don't get buttons wired up to actions in the class; it only works for methods outside a class. Any help?I came to that issue since I defined a global SQLite instance and cursor and tried to use it in defs wired up to buttons, all without any class, but then it fails to execute sqllite since different threads being used.
Greetings!

RE: How to use a custom class for a whole UI
Thanks, strange syntax.
I somehow expected something like setting the custom class of the pyui and then all methods set as action in the Ui builder would have referred to corresponding methods of the set custom subclass of View used for it. Instead, one needs to wire up all actions by code. Maybe that is something for an upcoming update?
But my initial problem still exists: how can one deal with sqllite3 in an object based manner? As soon as executions are done by a method of a class whereas pointer and connection are instance variables, I get an error saying that they are running in different threads?
