@Joker, doing something in another app may be possible if it has an URL scheme or can be automated e.g. with Apple Shortcut, that you can call from Pythonista.
Doing something with a regular schedule may be ok if you are thinking ”every 10 seconds while I have Pythonista open”, but not possible if your idea is ”every day at 10 am in the background without me doing anything”.
