    • General Roadmap for an App Project

Hello everyone! I’ve been on this forum before on another account and have used pythonista for about a year now, but I wouldn’t consider myself a good programmer or anything, I have a lot to learn!

Anyways, to the point, I’m looking to develop an app that I would like to submit to the app store. So the first order of business is should I even use pythonista or should I use another program? Because I’m not sure if it’s possible to export/convert pythonista code into Xcode or something...again sorry for the noob question.

If it is possible to do the above, then these are my other inquiries regarding the app.

So what I hope to develop is a basic music-streaming platform where I’ll manually upload songs (to a database/server) and change them every so often. It’s basically a netflix app but for music.

So what I’d really appreciate is just a general direction as to what I should learn and where to go to accomplish this stuff. I’m wondering:

-How do I setup a basic server? (Is it possible with pythonista?)

-How do I send data from that server to the standalone app (i.e. “stream” the music)

-How do I export the pythonista app and keep the server going indefinitely?

Thank you all so much in advance. I’m sorry if these questions sound dumb, I’d just really like to work on this and learn more!
