This is not a thread to ask for any new feature.
It is just to thank you Ole for the very brilliant work you've done with this new version of Pythonista (v1.5).
I can now run numpy and matplotlib from my ipad, and that will certinly change a lot the way i teach.

I just wanted to let you know your work and effort are very appreciated.

    Thanks again.

A friend of mine has bet me $50 Computable will be available before Pythonista v1.5... do you think i'll loose?

Hey! Computable seems to be the app for scientific python on the ipad, although I'll keep pythonista for general use.

@computable: when will it be available on the apple store?

@Kenbo01: i'd like to see an example of this, and to have more details as to what your workflow is and how you integrate framework7 with pythonista.

    Thanks in advance.

@henryiii: my bad! simpy = process-based discrete-event simulation framework, while sympy = library for symbolic mathematics. I misred upwart's post.

I agree numpy & matplotlib are pretty big indeed, and it would be great to have them available in my iPad. That will absolutely change the way I do both my research and my teaching.

@upwart: indeed, symbolic algebra would also be a handy tool to have.

I've entered this thread just because I saw a big entry on the forum's page stating that (i quote) "Importing functions doesn't work!". For the sake of preciseness, i think the OP's original question should be rephrased to "Importing functions doesn't work in original iPad with iOS 5", as the original title could be misleading to someone new to Pythonista.
