Brand new user with a couple newbie questions… wanting to move to Editorial from Notesy as my daily driver for a mess of (mostly plaintext) notes stored in a Dropbox subfolder. I have sync working happily, but was missing the convenience of creating a new file with a single tap (Notesy auto names on first save based on first line of contents, though I'm happy enough with date- and time-stamp filenames). I'm close to a workflow that works for me, but:
- Can I bring up the on-screen keyboard at the conclusion of a workflow? I'm using the built-in 'Open Document' presently, which seems to require a second tap to focus the text input field after running.
- I assume that, when typing, changes are written only at certain intervals/events (open new file, dismiss keyboard)? I'm timestamping down to the minute and using 'Get File Contents' to pre-fill existing contents for extant files, but sometimes I'm getting blank overwrites invoking the workflow repeatedly in quick succession.
Any enlightenment appreciated - also open to suggestions of better ways of achieving the same end (rapid launch of new named document in Dropbox ready to type). Thanks!
