-
Hello,
I'm new to pythonista 3 and python. I would like to install raspberry pi package on pythonista. So far I've installed stash which is pretty awesome. Unfortunatly I can't install raspberry package via pip.

I don't see any error messages in the output you posted... What exactly isn't working? Is the module installed in
site-packages
, and can you import it?By the way, it looks like the module depends on another module used to control the Pi's GPIO pins. That module cannot be installed on Pythonista, because it contains native C code. It would be quite useless as well, because iOS devices obviously don't have GPIO pins.
-
The entire module is just a wrapper over RPi.GPIO, it seems. @Noobernikus why do you want to install this?
-
GPIO (General-purpose input/output) are those little pins on the Raspberry PI hardware... Those don't exist on iOS devices so the warning does not surprise me. However it is merely a warning, not an outright error. I would try to use the software and see what works and what does not. Perhaps some parts are usable.

thank you all for your replies. I was hoping this would be possible so I can continue writing my raspberry project while I'm traveling without the need for a laptop.
Unfortunatly this seems to be not possible right now. When I including the RPi Library there occurs a compile error :-( telling me that there exists no such library
I'm aware that iOS isn't the predistine plattform for developing raspberry pi project but I thought lets give it a try. ;-)

@Noobernikus you don't need the package installed to write the code. You can code on your iOS device without running the code and upload it to your Raspberry Pi later.
