pandas on Pythonista
-
+1 for pandas
-
Another brick in the wall.
-
http://computableapp.com already comes with a full-featured SciPy stack... Numpy, SciPy, SymPy, Pandas, Matplotlib, it's all there, native extensions included.
-
@omz, I don't know what your timeline on releasing 1.6 is, but I was wondering whether pandas might make it in there. I have also sent a couple of beta testing requests to the support email over the last month, with no response; are you still looking for people to test 1.6 beta?
-
das wäre wunderbar
-
pandas + seaborn would be amazing additions to Pythonista. so much potential for prototyping data products on iOS with those libraries in place.
-
@ccc I already hav computable, but I prefer to use pythonista.
-
@omz Is there any likelihood of seeing Pandas support in the near future?
-
Another vote for including pandas in pythonista.
-
@omz can you say whether Pandas is a likely addition to Pythonista in the near term?
-
@omz I presume that Pandas did not make it into v2.0? Any chance of seeing this in the future?
-
I don't remember
pandas
being in the beta, so I assume it won't be in 2.0 either. -
+1 vote for getting
pandas
on Pythonista! This is probably the ONLY reason why I haven't bought the app yet! I do so much stuff withpandas
,seaborn
,bokeh
... -
I just bought Pythonista and I have just discovered that for my need it is useless, due to the lack of pandas and scipy. Hopefully the programmer will be able soon to integrate these modules.
-
A pandas request... everyone drink!
-
Is there any reason why omz not willing to embed pandas? License? It's BSD. So it should be OK. Too much complicated? Or changing too rapidly?
-
@zenz Too much complicated, mostly, but I think I'll get to it eventually.
-
@omz Thank you for reply. Hope we can have it soon.
-
@omz funny I reached here after buying Pythonista 3 and trying to find a way to use Pandas. hope you'll have success.
Beside that, I would like to say great job on Pythonista, it really well done. Python is not my preferred language, but I have to use it, and I must say, Pythonista makes it fun.
Thanks, and keep up the good work!
