pcista - Pythonista modules ported to PC project is back!
Hey guys! Haven't been on the forums for a long time.
I also haven't been working on this project for like a month... ew...
Well, now I am back with some nice updates :)
I've fully rewritten the code, and now it has almost no global variables, also support to change window's size and title! And yep, image support! Now you can draw images and text, use functions like
load_raw_image_data. A full list of supported functions and programs is in my repository on GitHub.
The repository is located here: https://github.com/Vik2015/pcista
Also, a quick and dirty photo viewer can be found here. I made it to test drawing, but maybe someone can do something with it... :)
Btw, I've almost got Jumpy Octopus to work! I just need to mess around with PIL a little bit, because it doesn't load images as alpha by default (I think so, never used it before).
Here are some screenshots of it running on Linux (gap is 0.460 because otherwise I was loosing all the time):
A small update containing some bug-fixes:
- Fixed rect drawing
- Fixed functions no_fill, no_stroke, and no_tint. Now they work as expected
Yay! I finally managed to run Hydrogen! It works pretty nice, except for some text tinting problems. Trying to solve it.

I am hopefully going to push another update soon, which will allow you to use
import Imageinstead of
from PIL import Image:)
