Bug: Run Pythonista script in share sheet shows tools instead of appex scripts
-
@halloleooo it happens everywhere, in all share sheets, only since yesterday
-
@cvp No idea what can cause this. Maybe reinstall Pythonista?
-
@Cvp And maybe making Ole Zorn aware of it? Not sure how responsive he is on Twitter...
-
-
-
@jonB: you are our champion and you know some Pythonista internals: do you have an idea of where to search?
-
Additional info, thanks to filenav, i've found this file ExtensionShortcuts.json, which contains the scripts showed in this erroneous screen.
And it is not exactly the same as tools but an old version of it.
Not Understandable -
If I manually re-add shares, they are added in this file of just previous post.

Always afraid to lose my data
Fair enough, but the Python files you should be able to get back via iCloud if you stored them there.
Of course all custom links you’ve put into the Wrench sheet, you’d need to rewire...
-
@halloleooo sure. But if the only changed thing is the list of my appex scripts, I can rebuild them in a few minutes. I only want to understand from where this bug comes to be sure it would not occur anymore.
-
@cvp Totally agree. Would be sooo good to be able to reach out to omz...
-
So, are you saying when you add a new wrench action, does it show on your appex page? What about if you add a new appex (does that show back up on your wrench?)
-
@JonB no, the wrench page is ok, it contains the old ones and if I add a new wrench, it goes in the wrench page.
But, the appex page contains the old wrenchs and the newly added appex. Of course, I will remove old wrench's and add also old appex as new ones, to go back to a normal situation. -
Very strange indeed! Have you found the json for the appex scripts?

Yes, it is the file I have described above but it was containing old wrench's. now, when I add new appex scripts, the file is updated with these new ones.
