Word Cloud?
Curious if anyone has made a Tag/Word cloud script?
I found a python script on GitHub. But I'm not sure how or if it is possible to get it to work in Pythonista.
source would be from Editorial or Drafts.
thank you

RE: ? batch rename images sequentially.
well, that's a bummer.
good news for me, the dev of the watermark app (http://plumamazing.com/win/iwatermark-pro/) replied to my suggestion and worked it in for the next weeks update.
bad news for you guys, I might have wasted your time ;-)
ccc that is going in my reference library though! thank you for that.

? batch rename images sequentially.
complete noob here. curious if this is even possible before I slog through it.
I'd like to select multiple images and rename them sequentially. I found a watermark app but it doesn't have a tool to do sequential numbering but it will rename per filename possibly with a prompt to enter a "start from" number.
any help would be appreciated. thanks in advance.

RE: ? batch rename images sequentially.
something simple would be awesome, just a camera roll multi-select and saving back to camera roll using the sequences. That would be better so it would be closer to my skill level for learning.
my wish was worded a little off i just noticed. the prompt for a start number would let you add images to a sequence.
thank you for the reply!

RE: Selecting Text Issues
i think it might have something to do with the different text heights selected. still trying to notice a pattern.
i have been tryin to find the sweet spot for iPhone and changing them a lot. so that might explain the inconsistency.
what are the default text heights so I can reset them? ty

Selecting Text Issues
For some reason I've always had issue selecting text in both Editorial and Pythonista.
Hard to explain. the behavior other than either it it will pop up the magnifying glass and then disappear, won't select at all, or it will unselect text after I've selected it.
Thank you.

RE: Selecting Text Issues
thanks for the replies.
i wish I could cap a vid of it. Most of the time I don't even get a popup at all.
best examples I can think of:
most of the time I can even get it to select,
if i do get it to select, the popup will display for a fraction of a second, then deselects the text.
if i get it to start a selection, as soon as i start to move the lollipops it deselects
when starting a selection, the magnifier will display then disappear deselecting text
if i remember correctly, I've had this problem in Pythonista as well on both iPad and iPhone, editorial as well.
Out of curiousity, what do you have your font settings at? what font, size, and line spacing?
thanks for the script JonB, have to check that out.

NVM: Using a variable in regex?
edit: got it to work, sorry, wish i could delete this
I'm trying to make a TP workflow to prompt for a project name and show all current tasks and archived tasks.
I've kind of worked backwards. I made a workflow to prompt for a project name and then filter lines that contain that name and output to the console This is getting me the archived tasks since every line contains the project name in a tag. And is working fine.
now I'm trying to select the "live" project tasks, since the project name is on one line and it's children do not contain the project name.
I've come up with this regex:
^.*^81357.*$([\s\S]+?)\r?\n(?=\r?\n)
where 81357 is the project name, it then selects the line with the project name and selects until the next blank line. I'm having a problem passing the text from the prompt into the expression replacing 81357.
It works perfect with the project name hard coded into the expression , just gotta get that variable to replace it.
Any help would be appreciated.

RE: What are people doing with Editorial
I don't write or anything like that, I am digital hoarder, so being able
to make a standard workflow to move this, there, and that.just throwing our the opposite side of the spectrum that enjoys editori.

Guidance for a Taskpaper workflow regarding archiving.....
I'm trying to figure out how to append the project name to the end of tasks that are archived. So far the only workflows I have seen for archiving just move all @done to the bottom Archive leaving me lost about who the archived tasks parent was.
So if I had:
PROJECT1: - TASK ONE @DONE - TASK TWO @DONE - TASK THREE PROJECT2: - TASK ONE - TASK TWO @DONE ARCHIVE:
Run the archive action and end up with this:
PROJECT1: - TASK THREE PROJECT2: - TASK ONE - TASK TWO @DONE ARCHIVE: - TASK ONE @DONE @PROJECT1 - TASK TWO @DONE @PROJECT1 - TASK TWO @DONE @PROJECT2
I keep a running list of my projects in one text file. If you've used PlainTasks for Sublime it handles the archive this way.
Any help would be really appreciated,
Thanks in advance,

RE: Guidance for a Taskpaper workflow regarding archiving.....
WOW! Just ran it! I wasn't expecting a reply like that! Thank you! To be honest I probably would not have figured that out!
For my work I don't use subtasks, so this is perfect.

RE: Weather where you are
thanks ccc.
can you give me a real brief intro on when to fork and when to clone, or if any of that is necessary and just copy paste? mainly dealing with gists. I'd appreciate it.
-
RE: Weather where you are
hey ccc, i don't think you meant to give me (monkeygrip) credit ;)
i'm new to github and how/when you are supposed to fork things. i think i forked it but didn't make any changes. think credit should goto kultprok

RE: Indentation Issue
i'm a newbie and run into this all the time, it is kind of frustrating when you are learning and it makes no sense because to me, it looks correct.

Audio Stopping On Launch?
Is it possible to disable Pythonista stopping currently playing audio upon launch?
Thank you.
