Extract Email Adresses
Has anyone created a workflow to extract email addresses from a bunch of text? If not, anyone interested in collaborating on one? :)
Thanks!

RegEx Help
Greetings all,
Vittici shared this a long time ago. I'd like to modify it to select forward one word at a time instead of backward one step at a time. I've tried messing with it, but my knowledge of regular expressions is not up to snuff. Is there anyone who loves playing around with workflows and regex that would like to flip this workflow around for me? I imagine if I could follow it, it would be pretty simple to reverse. Alas, I can't. :-)
Thanks!

Problem With Multiple X-callback-URL Calls
I have a workflow that calls on drafts to run an action contained in a variable and also uses data that has been placed on the clipboard. After that it returns to editorial to get differnt data placed on the clipboard and back to Drafts again. This can repeat several times. When it calls Drafts the second time though, it stops the workflow. I thought maybe it was running out of memory, but I'm using an iPad Air 2 and still seeing it kill the workflow after two trips to Drafts.
Even if the second trip is to be the last one, it doesn't finish out the workflow.
Any thoughts?
Thanks!

RE: Problem With Multiple X-callback-URL Calls
I have a generate text and set clipboard between them. That doesn't seem to work though. Is there anything I can do that wouldn't require pushing a button?
Thanks!

RE: Problem with x-callback-url and '&'
I've tried it both ways. They both cut off after the '&'. If you leave the url escape action in and turn on url escaping for variables, in double encodes it. This sends everything over, but you get a lot of %'s and numbers instead of spaces and &'s. :-)

RE: Equivalent for Byword's CMD-E?
You should just create a workflow to put the cursor back in the document and then create a keyboard shortcut to trigger that workflow. No?

RE: [Req] iCloud for doc sync
Would also love to see this. I live in China and Dropbox has been blocked here for the last few months. I don't see this situation changing so iCloud sync would be great for me. Such a pain to sync anything right now!

RE: Newbie question
Here's a link to a quick little workflow to put the URL for the current file on the clipboard. You can use this to create links in LCP.
Hope it helps.

x-callback-url Question
Greetings,
I'm trying to use this URL: editorial://x-callback-url/?command=Back%20Ups&x-success=omnifocus://
But I'm getting this error message: Invalid URL: The first part of the URL must be either "open" or "new".
Any thoughts would be appreciated!
Thanks!

Discontinue Custom UI?
Greetings All,
I'm loving the Custom UI Action. I've created this little guy to make my most commonly used workflows that much easier to get to. I'd like to discontinue the main workflow when any sub-workflow is called. Does anyone have ideas on how to do this?
I've tried putting a Stop after the Custom UI in the main workflow as well as putting a stop after a sub-workflow in the action for the button.
Just to be clear, when I press a button in the workflow, thereby calling a subworkflow, I want the main workflow, the 'Palette' to go away. I'm fine if it goes away as soon as the sub-workflow is called or at the same time as the sub-workflow goes away. I don't want the extra tap to get rid of the palette.
Thanks!

RE: Loss of .py support in Dropbox on latest Editorial?
Would it be possible to create a workflow that would go through a folder and change the extension of all the .py files to .txt? Or even an Automator script on the... What's that called again? Oh yes, the Mac?

RE: What are people doing with Editorial
From my (just posted) App Store review:
This app has been blowing my mind since I first downloaded it a few months ago. The capabilities are just amazing. It seems like there's nothing that you can't do with text when using this app. It's truly amazing. Once you learn a little bit of markdown, you can post photos to your blog using plain text, you can automatically send formatted emails, you can create markdown formatting with a tap.
There is so much potential that I haven't explored in the. 1.0 release and now 1.1 is out with even more capability. Amazing!
I've been wanting to learn Python for a couple years and now I have the motivation to do it. I'll be able to use my new Python skills to do useful things with my iPad and not just make little games on the PC like all the books show you.
This is such a great app and now available on the iPhone. Amazing!
Update: I've learned a little bit of Python now and I'm able to pull information for contacts to send emails to automatically, sort lists of data and more! Such a great app!

RE: Pausing workflow for an x-callback action?
That means yes, you can pause a workflow while you send stuff off to another app and pick up where you left off when it comes back. :-) See my Monthly Update workflow that I just uploaded. It goes over to Drafts as many as eleven times and comes back to where it left off.
