Who is running this show? I’m looking for support.
Who are the @administrators of the forums? Or even @moderators ? Is anyone able to help me with login issues? It appears support and @omz himself aren’t around to help ATM. I’m just hoping he’s hunkered down trying to pump out the next version of Pythonista and hence that’s why he’s gone dark recently.
Can anyone confirm he’s actually about? Or help me with my login issues? I’ve been reaching out for the last three days and not having any luck with emails, tweets, reset emails etc. if anyone is in contact with any admins or mods, I wouldn’t mind a DM to discuss what’s going on.
You can often get support right here in the forums - support from developers can be limited - especially when it's a single person supporting the app.
I for one would be happy to help guide you through whatever troubleshooting steps are required.
It’s a forum support issue itself. I’m not getting the password reset emails and so I can’t log into the forum with my desired account because for whatever reason the browser decided it didn’t want to remember the password, and I certainly don’t. I have tried resetting the email countless times to no avail.
For one I’d like to know if it’s just me not getting emails, or everyone.
You could try hitting the “forgotten password” link to send the email to yourself, you don’t need to actually click the link and change your password, but I’d like to know if it’s just not hitting my server (Gmail) or it is a mis configuration on their part. If the server is running from a personal computer at home it’s likely not to be set up correctly. But I need to rule out issues at googles end first. BTW, this is me on a different device, different browser. ie DaveM = madivad lol
@madivad, it is a general problem, not just you.
Oh well, good to know I suppose... I’ll try and milk the cookie on the phone
I ran into this too-- I'm still logged on one computer, but I can't login on another because I forgot the password. Looks like I may be able to change my email address, but not sure that would help (thought maybe the one I used has a too strict spam filter or something, though I've checked the spam folder)...
And I'm hesitant to try various possible passwords I may have used for fear it might disable the account...

omzand click the entry to see the password. All browsers will have similar password caches in their settings.
WHOA! Thumbs UP! I didn't know about that, and sure enough, there it is. THANKS!
