It seems difficult.
Please keep the arrangement of the small letter pages as they are.Not very urgent, thus let us think about it at your and my sides, perhaps a good idea will appear
version 00.42 is available with
modifications
- add return button in small keys page
corrections
- the space button on the alphabet page generates a "s" instead of a blank

It is a partial correction.
I'd like to change the layout of the buttons on the alphabet pages.絵文字→平仮名
平仮名→絵文字I have a suggestion.
Is it difficult to convert Hiragana in the temporary storage to small letters by pressing the small letter button? -

I have a suggestion.
Is it difficult to convert Hiragana in the temporary storage to small letters by pressing the small letter button? Two questions:
- Thus no more small keys page?
- What to do if some letters of temporary storage do not have a small letter?
-
1.There are no more lower case pages.
2.If the target character is not entered, please disable the lower case button.
-
@shinya-ta When do I move temporary storage to TextField?
At each letter?
When you tap "small keys" key? I convert then insert temporary storage into text? -
-
@shinya-ta said
あ→小文字 →ぁ→ return→ Text field.
But if you want to only convert one character into small, the 小文字 key could convert into little then directly insert to TextField, without needing a return key
-
I will be in trouble if it is input directly.
It will be a problem if it can't be stored in the temporary storage because the character can be converted to Kanji by a combination of a voiced sound and a small letter.

Ok, understood
Sincerely, I'm not sure that voiced sound mark can be combined with small letters.
Let us see that later, keep it for a future bug 😉 -
@shinya-ta version 00.43 is available with
modifications
- alphabet page: exchange positions of buttons 絵文字 <--> 平仮名
- small key enabled only if temporary storage contains
only letters having a small version - tapping small key converts temporary storage letters to their small version
- no more small keys page

Do not forget that I shall be operated this Friday, then I shall stay in a "intensive care room" during 3 days, only connected to medical devices, not iOS devices 😢, then one week at hospital. Thus, try to test as soon as possible so I could still modify the script before.

I'm really worried about your health. I sincerely hope that you will get better soon.
When you change the case of "あ, い, う, え, お", if you enter them consecutively, all of them will be changed to small letters.
As an example.
ああ→ぁぁ
There are times when I want to use it as below.
ああ→あぁ
I just want to convert only one character. Also, if you combine it with other Hiragana characters, it won't be lowercase.
As an example.
じゆ→じゅ
And Katakana is used in the same way. Therefore, temporary storage is required for Katakana, too.

-
Yes, it is.
-
@shinya-ta version 00.44 is available with
modifications
- the 小文字 key will be enabled only if the last letter of the temporary storage
has a small version, and tapping it will only convert this last letter
https://raw.githubusercontent.com/cvpe/Pythonista-scripts/master/Emojis_Keyboard.py
- the 小文字 key will be enabled only if the last letter of the temporary storage
-
Great. Great.
The Katakana page is the same.
If you add temporary storage to a Katakana page and you can convert it to small letters just like a Hiragana page, you are done. -
@shinya-ta said
you are done.
I don't believe that, I know you 😀
The Katakana page is the same.
If you add temporary storage to a Katakana page and you can convert it to small letters just like a Hiragana pageThat will say that Katakana also uses the temporary storage, but you confirm that there is no Kanji conversion?

I'm sorry.
Certainly, I often ask for additional orders.😅
The function is fine with this.
Other than that, it's fine tuning.I would like you to change the offset position of the "あ, か, さ" button on the hiragana page, "ア, カ, サ" katakana page.
I want you to put it a little higher.
It's okay to hide the letters on the top button a little.
My wife is going to type "あ", but she often ends up typing "う".
If it is an instant tap, it will happen with high probability. Also, I want you to change the position of the button.
“、”→”。”
“。”→”、” -
If you turn on the keyboard and tap the first button (which is the same for all buttons), there is a fairly high probability that the app will crash.
Can you do something about this? -

Can you do something about this?Unfortunately, there is no error message, no problem log.
I have already met this problem and it could be possible that this happens only once per new version, it seems for me. Anyway, without more info, I'm not able to know what I could change. Sorry for that.
Don't forget that Pythonista becomes old without any update. I'm always afraid that one day, it could not be working anymore.
Hoping that this crash is not to frequent, so your wife could use the keyboard -

My wife is going to type "あ", but she often ends up typing "う".
If it is an instant tap, it will happen with high probability. This happens because the long press has a duration of 0.01 second, almost a tap.
When you touch the あ key during 1/100 of second, the program shows a very short time the 5 blue flicked keys and when your finger leaves the screen, it is on the う key....version 00.46 is available with
modifications
- exchange positions of “、” <---> ”。”
- change the long press duration from 0.01 to 0.1 second
to have a way to do a tap (less than 0.1 second)
https://raw.githubusercontent.com/cvpe/Pythonista-scripts/master/Emojis_Keyboard.py
Please ask your wife to test this version only to check if this difference between a tap and a long press of minimum 0.1 second does solve her problem
- As your wife does not see the temporary storage, would it not be interesting not to display it and to enlarge the buttons to have 4 lines using all the authorized surface. or at least try to see what it brings.
